Keira Knightley
Knightley born in London to the family that included actors Will Knightley & Sharman Macdonald at six years old, began her career in television commercials and film. In 1999, she played Sabe on Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. After becoming famous through the fantasy TV series Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003 when she played Elizabeth Swann (a swashbuckling footballer) and was able to appear in the film sports Bend It Like Beckham in which she portrayed the teen. She starred in the romantic comedy Love Actually and was called a promising young woman. Knightley received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride & Prejudice (2005). Knightley acted in numerous other period-themed films, such as Atonement (2007 the love story), The Duchess, (2008) and Anna Karenina, (2012). In Anna Karenina, she also was a socialite titled Georgiana in The Duchess. She also appeared in contemporary dramas as an ambitious music student as in Begin Again (2012) and a Doctor in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2013). Knightley came back to historical movies in The Imitation Game in 2014, where she was nominated for the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. In the year 2018, Knightley played the writer Colette.
